Pinterest may evoke images of people collecting photos of exotic vacation locations or extravagant wedding ideas. However, these uses barely scrape the surface of Pinterest’s power.
Pinterest has become a vital tool in our arsenal of preparation. We publish mood boards which contain styles, colors, designs and typographic examples. These boards allow us to quickly establish a visual dialogue internally, and with our clients.
In the past this process would have been accomplished by scouring magazines and the web for examples of images, videos and typography before saving everything to a folder and then emailing it around or using a sharing service of some kind—a much more time intensive process.
By thinking about Pinterest differently, we are able to streamline our process and create added value for our clients.
