Several months ago we published an article which examined the rapidly declining usefulness of free organic Facebook reach for brands. In that article we stated that organic reach was down to about 6% of a given page’s fans. A couple of weeks ago Ad Age posted an article citing sweeping research by [email protected], their report came to the same 6% and falling conclusion.
Before long, the Organic Reach on Facebook will effetely reach 0%. Dollars and time spent acquiring new fans for branded pages will be almost completely wasted.
